Job Description

One of our largest Telecom customers is seeking a Data Science consultant with a strong Computer Science background to support strategic consumer transformation initiatives focused on customer convergence, retention, and churn reduction. This individual will leverage Python, SQL, and Databricks to analyze large-scale datasets, develop data models, and generate actionable insights that drive business decisions. The role involves working with data collected from residential gateway (RG) devices and other customer-facing platforms, performing data exploration, feature engineering, and predictive analytics to identify opportunities for personalization and improved customer experiences. The ideal candidate possesses strong programming skills, a solid foundation in data science and software engineering concepts, and experience translating complex data into measurable business outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience

-Strong hands-on programming skills in Python & SQL with the ability to develop, query, manipulate & analyze large datasets in complex enterprise environments.
-Experience with large-scale data processing and Databricks for engineering, analytics, and model development.
-Strong data modeling experience with the ability to perform data exploration, manipulation, feature engineering, and predictive modeling of complex datasets.
-Master's degree in computer science with a strong understanding of software development principles, algorithms, and programming concepts.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Experience with Linux and/or C/C++
-Experience analyzing customer data to support retention, convergence, personalization, or other customer transformation initiatives.
-Experience supporting Network Operations organizations or related data.
