Required Skills & Experience

• Experience writing and modifying SQL queries.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Our banking client is seeking a Data Analyst to support incentive investigation and reporting activities within Banking Operations. This individual will be responsible for reviewing incoming inquiries from bank managers, researching incentive and sales-related discrepancies, and using SQL-based analysis to determine outcomes according to established business rules.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of connecting data findings to business processes. This role is investigative in nature and requires strong problem-solving skills more than advanced technical development expertise.
Responsibilities
• Review and investigate incoming requests regarding banker incentives, sales credits, and product-related discrepancies.
• Analyze data from multiple source systems to validate transactions and determine eligibility for incentive credit.
• Use SQL queries to extract, review, and validate data.
• Apply established business rules and operational procedures during investigations.
• Identify data inconsistencies and determine root causes of reporting issues.
• Document findings and communicate outcomes through internal systems.
• Partner with banking operations stakeholders to resolve inquiries efficiently.
Maintain a high level of accuracy while managing multiple investigations simultaneously.
