Job Description
The Project Engineer supports the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects by maintaining project controls, documentation, reporting, and coordination across assigned scopes of work. Working closely with construction managers, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders, this role helps ensure project information is accurate, organized, and readily available for decision-making. The Project Engineer is responsible for tracking project actions, RFIs, submittals, turnover requirements, and critical project milestones while helping maintain visibility into project progress and risks.
This position serves as a key coordination resource for the project team, driving follow-through on outstanding items, supporting reporting and documentation processes, and ensuring commitments are tracked to completion. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
-0-4 years of experience in construction, project engineering, project controls, or a related project delivery role.
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage documentation, project records, and multiple concurrent priorities.
-Experience tracking project actions, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and status reporting.
-Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal project stakeholders.
-Proficiency with Procore (or similar project management software) and Microsoft Office Suite.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to escalate issues and communicate project status clearly.
-Detail-oriented approach with strong follow-through and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Experience supporting data center, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
-Owner-side, operator-side, developer, or general contractor project experience.
-Familiarity with project controls, construction scheduling, and project reporting processes.
-Experience supporting procurement activities and tracking long-lead equipment or owner-furnished equipment (OFCI).
-Exposure to commissioning, turnover, closeout, or operational readiness processes.
-Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, field-based construction environment.
-Experience coordinating multiple workstreams while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and organization.
-Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving project issues.
