Job Description
One of Insight Global’s customers is seeking a Data Architect to help drive modernization efforts across their enterprise data environment. This individual will work closely with Data Engineers, Product Owners, Architects, and business stakeholders to design scalable and efficient data platforms and pipelines. They will be responsible for evaluating current-state implementations, improving data structures, establishing best practices, and supporting enterprise-wide integrations across systems such as Oracle, Salesforce, and Workday. The Architect will help guide the overall data strategy, mentor engineering resources, support AI-driven initiatives, and ensure data platform scalability, reliability, and performance. This role requires someone who can think strategically while remaining hands-on enough to troubleshoot issues and support new project initiatives as they arise.

Required Skills & Experience
-10+ years of Data Engineering/Data Architecture experience
-Expertise with Snowflake
-Experience with modern data platform technologies (Databricks experience highly preferred)
-Strong AWS experience (Azure experience is a major plus)
-Experience with data ingestion and orchestration tools (Matillion, dbt, Airflow, Dagster)
-Advanced SQL and Python experience
-Strong understanding of data modeling techniques and dimensional modeling
-Experience designing scalable ETL/ELT architectures
-Experience integrating data from enterprise systems such as Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, etc.
-Strong understanding of data extraction best practices
-Experience troubleshooting complex data pipeline and architecture issues
-Working knowledge of AI integration within the data engineering lifecycle
-Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Healthcare industry experience
-Power BI experience
-Experience modernizing enterprise data warehouse environments
-Experience supporting analytics and reporting teams
-Databricks hands-on experience
-Exposure to machine learning workflows and advanced analytics
