Position Overview
BCG Platinion is seeking a highly experienced Dayforce Time & Payroll Expert to support a strategic workforce management and payroll initiative for the United States Postal Service (USPS). This individual will serve as a senior subject matter expert, providing deep functional and technical expertise across Dayforce Time, Payroll, and workforce management processes.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned practitioner capable of engaging with executive stakeholders while also driving detailed solution design, process improvements, and system optimization efforts. This role requires a hands-on expert who can assess current-state processes, recommend best practices, and support transformation initiatives in a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the lead Dayforce Time & Payroll Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a large-scale workforce management engagement.
• Advise senior business and executive stakeholders on payroll, timekeeping, compliance, and workforce management best practices.
• Assess current-state payroll and time management processes and identify opportunities for improvement and standardization.
• Provide strategic recommendations regarding Dayforce capabilities, configuration, and operational optimization.
• Support requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, stakeholder interviews, and solution design sessions.
• Partner with business, HR, payroll, and technology teams to align system capabilities with organizational objectives.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience in Payroll, Workforce Management, Time & Attendance, or Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions.
• Deep expertise with Dayforce Payroll and Dayforce Time & Attendance modules.
• Extensive experience supporting enterprise-scale payroll operations and workforce management programs.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, compliance requirements, and workforce administration processes.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and senior business stakeholders.
• Experience leading discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Dayforce Benefits Administration.
• Previous consulting experience with large enterprise or public-sector organizations.
• Experience supporting workforce transformation, payroll modernization, or HR technology initiatives.
• Familiarity with labor-intensive and unionized workforce environments.
• Experience participating in large-scale HCM, payroll, or workforce management implementations.

• Executive presence with the ability to influence and advise senior leadership.
• Comfortable operating strategically while remaining hands-on when needed.
• Strong communication and presentation capabilities.
• Proven success in fast-paced consulting engagements with aggressive timelines.
