Job Description

An employer in the insurance broker industry is looking for an IT Project Manager to join the remote team. This IT Project Manager will lead coordination of IT workstreams across multiple mergers and acquisitions, with a specific focus on software development and application integration. They will partner closely with M&A, infrastructure, network security, and software development teams to assess incoming systems from acquired companies, determine what is cloud vs. on-prem, and translate those findings into actionable work for development teams. The role involves identifying and prioritizing application components critical to the software development organization—such as websites, integrations, and compliance-driven systems—and ensuring those are properly scoped and flowed into the backlog. This person will drive cross-functional alignment across IT, legal, compliance, HR, and business stakeholders, manage timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables across concurrent acquisitions, and facilitate Agile ceremonies using ADO (with a transition to Jira). They will also ensure proper documentation, maintain clear communication across teams, and provide regular status updates on M&A integration progress.
