Job Description

We are looking for a proficient Radiologic Technologist to enhance our healthcare team. The selected candidate will be tasked with executing advanced diagnostic imaging procedures that facilitate accurate patient diagnosis and treatment. A comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential, along with expertise in multiple imaging modalities, including X-ray and MRI techniques. This position demands high competency in a dynamic clinical environment, ensuring the delivery of superior patient care.

Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations such as X-Rays and MRI's.
• Ensure patient safety by following established protocols and guidelines during imaging procedures.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while explaining the process to alleviate any concerns.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging results.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and assist in diagnosis.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and participate in ongoing education.

Required Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is essential for accurate imaging.
• Experience or familiarity with urgent care settings is preferred.
• Proficiency in various imaging modalities including X-Ray and MRI.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology related to radiology.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare staff.
• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist from an accredited program is required; state licensure may also be necessary.
• Must hold ARMRIT/ ARRT Certification
