Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a IaC Engineer to work for one of our client's in the Kansas City area. This person will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure as code using terraform. The majority of this role is going to be focused on working on projects that will have high visibility to the IT leadership at the organization so it is important that this person have deep expertise in cloud automation, infrastructure, and understands DevOps practices. This role does call for deep expertise in Azure DevOps but the ideal candidate for this role has worked in a hybrid or multi-cloud environment with hands on experience with both AWS and Azure. In this role, you will collaborate with the other cloud team members as well as the network and development team to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions are being implemented. You should be able to effectively provide input and problem solving by identifying, testing, and implementing solutions to stop problems before they arise. It is essential that this person be up to date on security best practices and integrate those into IaC and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Experience
• 7+ years of experience in a cloud engineering or automation position
• Deep expertise with Azure DevOps along with CI/CD tools and DevOps methodologies
• Strong experience with infrastructure as code (specifically terraform) and configuration management tools such as: (ansible, chef, puppet, or etc)
○ Has previously designed, developed and maintained infrastructure as code using terraform
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience develop and maintaining automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Networking background: experience with Palo Alto
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience in hybrid/multi cloud environments such as AWS and Azure
• Experience with monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, or Dynatrace
