Technician

Insight Global is seeking a Technician for a leading equipment and rental solutions provider in the industrial sector. This individual will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and testing generator and HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety for clients. The role involves a mix of shop-based work and field service calls, requiring strong mechanical aptitude and adaptability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on mechanic with experience in heavy-duty equipment, truck, or trailer repair, and brings a positive attitude and willingness to learn new systems. Day-to-Day:
- Perform preventative maintenance, repair, installation, and testing on generator and HVAC equipment
- Test and inspect equipment for performance and safety
- Respond to service calls and troubleshoot issues in the field
- Handle some unpredictable tasks and occasional late work (up to once per week)

- Experience as a heavy-duty mechanic or truck and trailer mechanic or similar experience
- Ability to work onsite and handle occasional overtime/on-call work
- Strong attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to pass a background check

- No formal training needed (hands-on experience valued)
- HUGE plus if they have generator experience
