Insight Global is seeking an AI Engineer to join the AI Engineering team with one of our top financial services clients located in NYC and Dallas, Texas. Our financial services client is seeking a highly hands-on AI Engineer to support and execute a broad set of AI initiatives across the firm. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on building, developing, and operationalizing AI solutions—not an architect-only position. The role is contract-to-hire and requires onsite presence 5 days/week in either NYC or Dallas, Texas. Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions across multiple enterprise initiatives
Build and optimize models, pipelines, and AI-driven applications in production environments
Work closely with data, engineering, and business teams to translate AI use cases into executable solutions
Contribute directly to coding, experimentation, model tuning, and deployment (hands-on execution)
Support AI initiatives across risk, operations, analytics, and other business functions

Required Skills & Experience
15+ years of overall professional experience with strong software engineering foundations
5+ years of hands-on AWS experience, including building and deploying solutions in cloud environments
Extensive experience working hands-on with AI/ML technologies (model development, frameworks, pipelines)
Strong programming experience (Python preferred) and experience working in production systems
Background supporting complex, enterprise-scale initiatives—ideally within financial services
Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Prior experience delivering AI solutions in regulated or large financial institutions
Exposure to multiple AI initiatives simultaneously across different business lines
