Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Transportation Program Manager to support large-scale infrastructure and IDOT-related projects across the Chicago area. This individual will oversee program-level delivery across multiple projects involving planning, design coordination, and construction execution. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating with clients, and ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget. This role is heavily focused on program oversight rather than hands-on design work. The individual will work closely with Illinois-based agencies, including IDOT and other Chicago-area transportation organizations. Responsibilities include leading client meetings, coordinating project teams, and driving overall program performance. Projects are large-scale, multi-year initiatives supporting highways, bridges, and other transportation infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience, local market knowledge, and a proven ability to manage complex transportation programs.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Illinois or another states with reciprocity
- Minimum 10 years of overall experience
- At least 5+ years of transportation program management experience
- Chicago-area residency with experience working locally
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience working with IDOT
- Experience working with Chicago-area transportation agencies
- Construction management experience
- Rail or transit project experience
- Bridge project experience
