Job Description

Job Overview
Seeking a Pipe Welder/Fabricator to fabricate, fit, assemble, and weld piping and structural components in a manufacturing environment. This role requires blueprint interpretation, precision welding, and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Layout, fit, assemble, and weld pipe and structural components.
• Perform TIG (GTAW), arc, submerged arc, and other welding processes.
• Read and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Inspect, repair, and rework welds and assemblies as needed.
Complete final assembly of piping systems and fabricated components.

Required Skills & Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience with TIG welding, pipe fitting, and blueprint reading.
• Ability to perform vertical and overhead welds.
• Ability to qualify for ASME code welding requirements.
Experience using hand and power tools in a fabrication environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Technical school or welding certification.
• Ability to weld in the 6G position.
• Experience with spool piping, instrumentation piping, or vacuum-jacketed piping.
Familiarity with ASME welding codes and standards.
