Job Description
Our customer is seeking a Senior Data & AI Strategist to help identify, prioritize, and drive high-impact AI, analytics, and data initiatives across the enterprise.
This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, AI adoption, and executive stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate understands AI/ML products, can build strategic roadmaps, develop business cases, drive adoption, and help leadership make informed decisions about where to invest in AI and advanced analytics.
• Partner with executives and business leaders to uncover AI and analytics opportunities.
• Lead discovery sessions and evaluate potential use cases.
• Build strategic roadmaps and prioritize initiatives based on business value.
• Translate business requirements into clear direction for Data Science and technical teams.
• Drive adoption of AI, analytics, and decision-support tools across the organization.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder alignment meetings.
• Create reusable playbooks, training materials, and enablement resources.
• Track adoption metrics, business outcomes, and realized value.
• Present recommendations and progress updates to leadership.
• Support AI governance, responsible AI practices, and enterprise scaling efforts.
Role Breakdown:
• 90% Strategy, consulting, stakeholder engagement, adoption, and roadmap development
• 10% Technical understanding of AI/ML products and concepts
• May perform light proof-of-concept work or data exploration, but this is not a hands-on engineering or Data Science role.

Required Skills & Experience
• Business Strategy & Leadership
• 5+ years of experience in consulting, business analysis, AI strategy, analytics strategy, product strategy, or solution delivery
• Experience working directly with executives and senior business stakeholders
• Experience developing strategic roadmaps and business cases
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Ability to drive organizational change and adoption
AI & Analytics Experience
• Strong understanding of AI, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, and Data Science concepts
• Experience identifying and evaluating AI/ML use cases
• Experience translating business problems into AI/analytics solutions
• Ability to provide solution direction to technical teams without being the primary builder
• Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and Agentic AI concepts
Portfolio & Program Management
• Experience managing an AI, analytics, product, or transformation portfolio
• Intake, prioritization, roadmap planning, and lifecycle governance experience
• Ability to balance competing initiatives based on business value and organizational priorities
Financial & Business Value Focus
• Experience building business cases and ROI models
• Ability to quantify expected business impact
• Experience partnering with Finance, FP&A, or business leaders to validate value
Strong understanding of how technology investments connect to business outcomes.

• Experience supporting enterprise AI adoption programs
• Microsoft AI, Fabric, Power BI, or Data certifications
• Ability to leverage tools such as Python or SQL for light analysis or validation work
