Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Safety Manager in the Wentzville, Missouri area and Flint, Michigan. The Safety Manager is going to be responsible for walking the floor, checking on jobs, making sure proper safety is occurring on the floor, as well as any paperwork and administrative tasks. They will also be assisting the supervisor in creating any plans for the day and any situations that arise. The Safety Manager needs to be willing to learn, can lead, and be able to make hard decisions and speak up when necessary. The Safety Manager will also have a Safety Specialist that is their direct report – mentoring the specialist is a huge part of this role!

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Public Health or relevant working experience
10+ of experience within Safety Management & the automotive industry
MS Office & Sharepoint experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Industrial, Automotive, Steel Mill, Manufacturing background
ISO 45000 (Health and Safety) or ISO 14000 (Environmental)
