Job Description

The EV Lab Technician will be responsible for electrical validation testing of fNIC/IPUs to ensure products meet client's advertised specs. Work responsibilities include test planning assistance, execution of tests in the LAB, documentation, lab maintenance and some product debug as required.

Additional Responsibilities Include:
• Perform execution of electrical validation test plans, test sequences, and directed tests to ensure adherence to validation standards and procedures.
• Support electrical validation engineers, testing and debug,
• Commissioning and qualification of equipment and equipment systems, maintains clean bench environment, equipment, and tools for hardware testing. Installs, uses, and updates hardware lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and function generators.
• Applies knowledge of electrical validation industry standards and best practices to help drive automation and improvement of the EV process, tools, and methodology, and proliferates learning across sites.
• Collect, organize, and document test data and maintains validation test documentation through the validation lifecycle.
• Collaborates with Design, Verification, Validation, and Software and Tools teams for PCB and/or other hardware rework and troubleshooting validation problems.
• Identify, capture, and track issues by filing detailed JIRA bug reports.
• Support EV engineers, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of test equipment and environments.
• Assist in debugging products and collaborating with engineering teams to resolve technical issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• Superior and reliable soldering skills to apply “testpoints” on all types of micro/mini components
• Experience with oscilloscopes, probes , electrical measurements, and lab instrumentation
• Some experience with Linux/Ubuntu OS environments is a plus
• Must have clear written communications skills.
• Thrive with rigorous and repetitive testing to ensure product reliability/quality
• Proactive, detail-driven, and able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Self-starter and able to drive tasks to closure.
