Job Description
The Manager of Contracts & Vendor Management provides operational direction for Information Technology vendor management, contract administration, software portfolio management, and technology risk coordination. This position supports effective technology management while promoting financial stewardship, security, accessibility, compliance, and operational effectiveness. The Manager assists in evaluating processes and contributing to the development of policies, procedures, and programs related to technology procurement, vendor governance, contract lifecycle management, and compliance. The position serves as a key resource for Information Technology and stakeholders regarding technology-related contracts, vendor engagements, and associated review processes.

Required Skills & Experience
MUST HAVES:
· Experience in technology procurement, including vendor management, technology contracts, and software licensing.
· This position requires either eight years of directly related full-time experience or, as an alternative, a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Information Technology, Business Administration
· 5 years of experience in
• Experience in technology procurement, including vendor management, technology contracts, and software licensing.
• Experience with procurement processes, contract routing, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and renewals.
• Experience reviewing technology contracts, vendor quotes, licensing terms, renewal proposals, statements of work, or service agreements.
• Experience in higher education, government, or another public-sector environment.
• Experience supporting RFP, RFI, sole-source, contract renewal, contract amendment, vendor negotiation, or competitive sourcing processes.
· Experience operating a personal computer and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook).
