Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join a premier law firm client. The payroll coordinator will be responsible for administering the firm’s time, attendance, and payroll systems for all employees, excluding partners. The Payroll Coordinator ensures the accurate and timely processing of payroll while delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders. Responsibilities include maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with applicable policies and regulations, and generating reports to support business needs.
Day-to-day responsibilities may include the following:
• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time through UKG Ready for all firm employees, except for partners.
• Maintain payroll records and manage employee payroll data, including benefits, leaves of absence, terminations, and deductions.
• Administer payroll-related changes including 401(k), FSA, wage garnishments, and benefit deductions.
• Partner with Human Resources to ensure payroll records accurately reflect employee benefit and leave updates.
• Perform payroll tax reconciliations and support internal and external payroll audits.
• Maintain payroll documentation, reports, and records to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding PTO/FTO balances and timekeeping.
• Review time and attendance data within UKG Ready, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely corrections.
This is a full-time position that has a hybrid office/work from home schedule – in the office 2-3 days a week.

Required Skills & Experience
• 3–5 years of payroll experience within a professional services environment
• Experience running with full end-to-end payroll process and demonstrated ability to meet departmental standards and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Strong technical proficiency, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Bachelor’s degree
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with UKG Ready (payroll, time & attendance, and HRIS)
• Experience doing multi-state payroll
