Job Description
A client in the Nashville, TN area is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect to support its Infrastructure Orchestration Layer team. This role will lead design and implementation of cloud-native solutions in GCP, with a focus on GKE (Kubernetes) and integration across MongoDB, SQL, and Oracle environments.
This is a high-visibility role requiring strong communication skills—the ideal candidate must confidently represent the client in discussions with internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g., PwC).
Key responsibilities include:
Design and implement scalable GCP-based architecture solutions
Lead Kubernetes/GKE orchestration and platform modernization efforts
Enable integration across MongoDB, SQL, and Oracle data platforms
Define standards for infrastructure orchestration, automation, and cloud best practices
Collaborate with engineering, middleware, and enterprise architecture teams
Act as a technical leader in cross-functional and vendor discussions

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years in solutions architecture / infrastructure engineering
Strong experience with GCP and Kubernetes (GKE)
Hands-on experience with MongoDB, SQL, and Oracle
Background in distributed systems and cloud architecture design
Soft Skills:
Articulate, confident, and outspoken communicator
Comfortable pushing back and representing DG’s position
Not a passive contributor—must be visible and proactive
