Job Description
Our client is seeking an Environmental Engineer / Air Quality Specialist to support air permitting and environmental compliance efforts for renewable energy projects, with a primary focus on offshore wind development. This individual will prepare air permit applications, perform emissions calculations, evaluate regulatory requirements, and support clients throughout the permitting and compliance lifecycle. Salary from $75,000-$110,000

Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of air permitting experience
Experience preparing air permit applications, permit modifications, and regulatory submissions.
Knowledge of Virginia DEQ and EPA air quality regulations
Familiarity with Clean Air Act programs, permitting requirements, and environmental compliance processes.
Experience performing emissions calculations
Ability to evaluate facility emissions, prepare supporting technical documentation, and assist with permitting analyses.
