Insight Global is seeking a Technical Business Systems Analyst for a client in the financial services industry. This Business Systems Analyst will support a suite of financial and operational systems within a large investment management environment, focusing on data integrity, system reliability, and ongoing enhancements. On a day-to-day basis, the role is highly hands-on—working with SQL to analyze data, support testing efforts, investigate production issues, validate system changes, and assist with releases—while partnering across business, operations, and technology teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate processing of investment and accounting data. Over time, this individual will contribute to improving system workflows, identifying efficiencies, and helping bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions within a complex, data-driven organization.

Required Skills & Experience
2–5 years of experience in Business or Data Analysis role
Strong SQL skills (writing queries, data validation, production issue investigation)
Experience with testing (UAT, regression, unit testing) and test execution
Experience supporting production environments (issue resolution, data analysis, release support)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Background in financial services (investment ops, fund accounting, reconciliations, capital markets)
Automation or scripting experience (Python, VBA, Power Automate)
Experience with reconciliation or reporting tools (Xceptor, Cognos, Tableau, Power BI)
Exposure to file/data comparison tools (e.g., Beyond Compare) or process improvement initiatives
