Job Description
This role supports the end-to-end coordination of international air import shipments, ensuring timely movement of freight, accurate operational data entry, and exceptional customer service. The Air Import Agent will manage shipment visibility, customer communications, billing activities, and compliance requirements while serving as a key point of contact for customers, vendors, and government agencies. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented logistics role ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys problem solving, and is passionate about supply chain operations.
Day to Day:
• Coordinate and monitor international air import shipments from origin through final delivery
• Track and trace freight while proactively communicating shipment updates to customers and internal teams
• Process operational documentation, billing, dispute resolution, and foreign-to-foreign transactions
• Support customer quote requests and ensure all SOP, KPI, and compliance requirements are met
Partner cross-functionally to resolve shipment issues and improve operational efficiency

Required Skills & Experience
Must Haves:
• Strong data entry skills with ability to type 30 WPM and perform 10-key by touch
• Proven ability to multitask and perform effectively in a high-volume, high-pressure environment
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
Proficiency with Excel, Word, and other business systems
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Plusses:
• Air import experience
• Experience handling international shipment documentation and customs-related processes
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
