Job Description
Insight Global's food distribution client is seeking a Finance Architect. This Financial Architect guide a large Finance Technology organization providing strategic and technical oversight across the environment. Given the current fragmented landscape, this person will assess the environment, define a clear architecture strategy, and design scalable, long-term solutions. The role requires someone who can balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution—driving modernization efforts, designing enterprise-level financial solutions, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to establish best practices and deliver effective, integrated systems. He or she will be compensated $75-$95/hr depending on their experience.

Required Skills & Experience
• Strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of enterprise architecture, particularly within Workday and middleware/integration frameworks
• Proven experience leading large-scale finance technology modernization initiatives
• Experience delivering complex, enterprise-level implementations and transformation programs
• A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on development experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Workday CORA or similar Workday modules (e.g., Vertex, Cora, Workday PBC, Concur)
• Familiarity with middleware or integration tools such as MuleSoft
• Exposure to platforms like Apigee or similar API management solution
