Job Description

Am Insight Global customer is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a recently consolidated fire protection and life safety operation. This individual will oversee a team of 37 employees across multiple departments.

This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for someone who can unite teams, establish accountability, improve operational processes, and drive profitable growth. The ideal candidate is a confident decision-maker who commands respect, creates strong team culture, and possesses both operational and commercial leadership capabilities.

While the immediate focus is leading the Monee branch, there is potential for expanded responsibility in the future as the organization evaluates additional branch leadership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide overall leadership for a 37-person branch organization across multiple service lines.
• Create a unified culture following the consolidation of three smaller branch locations into a single operation.
• Establish accountability, performance expectations, and operational discipline across all departments.
• Refine processes, procedures, and workflows to improve productivity, service delivery, and profitability.
• Lead and develop department managers while fostering collaboration across teams.
• Drive branch growth through strong customer relationships, sales support, and operational excellence.
• Partner with customers to ensure high levels of service, responsiveness, and satisfaction.
• Resolve organizational challenges, mitigate internal conflicts, and confidently make business-critical decisions.
• Monitor branch financial performance and execute strategies to achieve revenue and EBITDA objectives.
• Support sales efforts by identifying growth opportunities within existing and prospective customer accounts.

Branch Structure
The Branch Manager will report into the Regional Director who reports into the Regional Vice President. The branch encompasses approximately 37 employees across 4 primary departments:
1. Portable Fire Extinguishers
• 1 manager; 8 individual contributors
• Inspection, service, and maintenance operations
Shop Operations
• 1 manager, 8 full-time employees;1 part-time employee
• Hydrostatic testing and extinguisher refill services
Systems Division
• 1 manager; 8 individual contributors
• Fire alarm, suppression, and life safety systems
Sales & Administration
• 1 manager; 8 individual contributors
• Customer service, office operations, and sales

OTE ranges from $125,000 to $175,000 - Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications
• Experience leading multi-functional teams in commercial environments across HVAC, electrical, mechanical, security systems, facilities maintenance, plumbing, construction or any route based organizations
• Strong understanding of commercial customers and service-based business models
• Strong people leadership and team development skills
• Track record of creating accountability and operational consistency
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
• Financial acumen with responsibility for revenue and profitability targets
• Customer-focused leadership approach
• Ability to confidently make decisions and drive execution
