Job Description

Overview
The Incoming QC Technician is responsible for inspecting incoming parts and components to ensure they meet quality standards before being released to production. This role is detail-oriented and focused on ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to specifications.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections on incoming parts
• Use inspection tools such as:
○ Micrometers
○ Calipers
○ Height gauges
○ (CMM experience is a plus)
• Verify that materials meet quality and engineering requirements
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
• Communicate findings with warehouse and production teams
• Release approved materials back to warehouse for use in production
What a Typical Day Looks Like
• Receive incoming parts from warehouse
• Inspect components for defects, accuracy, and quality
• Log and document inspection results in systems
• Work closely with warehouse and production during morning syncs
• Maintain a steady workflow with a strong focus on detail and precision

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications
• Prior quality control or inspection experience preferred
• Experience using measurement and inspection tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Comfortable with visual inspection and documentation
Basic computer skills
