Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for an Data & Process Automation Analyst to join their team. The Data & Process Automation Analyst supports the Business Services organization by combining data analysis, process execution, and workflow automation.
This role is responsible for maintaining accurate data operations while modernizing existing manual processes (Excel/Access-based) into scalable, automated solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools.
The ideal candidate will develop a strong understanding of Business Services functions, workflows, and data dependencies, and use that knowledge to improve efficiency, accuracy, and sustainability of core processes.

Data Operations & Analysis
• Analyze, validate, and process data files from internal and external sources
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, including additions, changes, and deletions to managed datasets
• Maintain and update internal systems and databases to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Support reconciliation and reporting processes, delivering accurate outputs within defined timelines
• Investigate and resolve data exceptions in coordination with internal stakeholders

Process Execution & Continuous Improvement
• Identify inefficiencies or gaps in current workflows and recommend improvements
• Document standard operating procedures and ensure consistency across recurring processes
• Execute established operational processes in alignment with audit and compliance requirements

Automation & Modernization (Core Focus Area)
• Support migration of legacy MS Access databases and Excel-based tools to more scalable solutions. Design and implement automated solutions using:
o Power Automate (workflow automation)
o Power Apps (forms and lightweight applications)
o Power BI (reporting and visualization)
• Partner with Business Services stakeholders to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort

Business Services Functional Support
• Develop a strong working knowledge of processes within the Business Services organization
• Support multiple functional areas under Business Services (Fleet Data, Contract Administration, Contract Billing, Car Repair Billing, and Car Hire)
• Act as a resource for data-related questions and operational support within the team
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business needs and priorities

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, MIS, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, automation, process improvement utilizing modern technology stack
• Experience supporting business operations or back-office functions preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform: Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Exposure to Access/VBA-based processes and interest in modernizing them
• Familiarity with SQL and ETL concepts
• Experience working with structured datasets and data transformations
• Basic understanding of relational data and database concepts
