Job Description
Insight Global is assisting a large retail client in hiring a Senior Manager of Store Space Design. They will visit the store with the project team, compile project scope notes, block plan of the store. They will need to ensure project milestones are being hit. They will work very closely with the store planners to make the design/prospect of project come to life. They will also be responsible for QA of work of their team members, the scope of project, and the drawings and being held to the latest principles and templates.

Required Skills & Experience
- 1 year of past people management experience
- Experience creating floor plan/block plan to plan high-level where each merchandising section will go based on the templates available
- Strong with AutoCAD
- Responsible for scoping a store and understanding that stores pain point to implement that into the design
- 7-15 years of experience working within design (space planner or design manager previous to being a manager)
-2+ recent years of experience working within big box retail environment
- Experience with leadership, presence, stakeholder management
• Proficiency of Gen AI tools – how can we do QA and be more efficient with task using AI and tools such as Autodesk
• Ability to learn and apply AI principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, PPT, Bluebeam
• Strong leadership, communication skills, and
- Comfortable with working on-site 5 days per week
- Travel within Canada about once a month overnight

- Experience with Revit
