Job Description
The Radiological Operator / Technician is responsible for safely operating radiological equipment, monitoring radiation levels, and performing hands-on technical activities supporting nuclear, manufacturing, research, or production operations. This role combines radiation control responsibilities with practical equipment operation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a regulated environment and enjoys spending time in the field supporting day-to-day operations. This is on-site 5 days a week with salary ranging from 75K-90K.

Required Skills & Experience
Associate degree, technical certification, military nuclear training, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in radiological operations, radiation protection, nuclear operations, or a technical manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of radiation detection instruments and contamination control practices.
Ability to read technical procedures, drawings, and work instructions.
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work in PPE, radiological controlled areas, and industrial environments.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
NRRPT certification or equivalent radiological qualifications.
Experience supporting DOE, DOD, commercial nuclear, or advanced reactor programs.
Experience with instrumentation calibration and maintenance.
