This newly created Business Development Manager position offers the opportunity to inherit established accounts while driving strategic growth and new business development initiatives.
Job Overview
Insight Global’s client is seeking a Business Development Manager to manage existing strategic accounts while driving new business development and revenue growth initiatives.
This individual will be responsible for expanding relationships with key retail, commercial, and enterprise customers while identifying new opportunities to increase market share and profitability.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive business development experience within manufacturing or durable goods industries and have a proven history of generating measurable account growth.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of business development, B2B sales, or account management experience.
Experience within manufacturing, durable goods, building products, kitchen and bath products, plumbing fixtures, construction materials, or related industries.
Demonstrated success growing existing accounts and generating measurable revenue growth.
Proven ability to develop new business opportunities and close high-value customer relationships.
Strong understanding of business strategy, client acquisition models, and contract negotiation.
Experience managing enterprise, retail, commercial, or strategic customer accounts.
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
Experience utilizing CRM and ERP systems.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience supporting or growing Lowe’s, Home Depot, or other major retail accounts.
Bathroom products, home products, kitchen and bath, or related industry experience.
Existing book of business and established industry relationships.
Experience with CommerceHub.
Experience with Acumatica or similar ERP platforms.
Experience utilizing AI or automation tools to improve sales effectiveness.
Leadership experience or demonstrated potential to mentor team members and support future sales growth initiatives.
