Job Description
We are looking for an Electrical Designer / CAD Technician to support the design of electrical systems inside commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings. This role is part of a multidisciplinary engineering team and focuses on producing construction drawings and technical documentation for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and telecommunications systems.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Provide technical and design support for building electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, telecom)
Produce electrical construction drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and/or Revit
Collaborate with Project Managers, Senior Electrical Engineers, and other design disciplines
Complete assigned design tasks on schedule and within budget
Support coordination meetings and incorporate feedback into design updates

Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit design experience
Two‑year degree in computer‑aided drafting, electrical systems technology, engineering technology, or a related technical field
Valid driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle and background record
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with electrical construction or installation
Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
2+ years of experience in the AEC industry (architecture, engineering, construction)
Experience designing electrical systems inside buildings
Revit proficiency (highly preferred for top‑tier candidates)
