Job Description

Ryder is seeking Licensing Coordinators to support commercial vehicle title, registration, and renewal processing across multiple U.S. states. This role plays a critical part in ensuring vehicles remain legally compliant through accurate documentation, timely renewals, and effective coordination with internal teams.

This is a fast‑paced, detail‑driven administrative role suited for candidates with strong customer service experience, attention to detail, and comfort working with vehicle‑related documentation and data.

Key Responsibilities
• Process title and registration paperwork for new and transfer‑in commercial vehicles across multiple states.
• Prepare and submit accurate licensing documentation to state and federal agencies, ensuring correct VIN, make, model, and year details.
• Coordinate required supporting documents such as weight slips and VIN verifications.
• Open, sort, and prepare annual registration renewals for existing fleet units, ensuring 100% on‑time compliance and zero penalties.
• Support internal and external customers by providing status updates on licenses and permits.
• Enter and track licensing payments in internal systems, including fee breakdowns and receipts.
• Assist with process updates and workflow improvements as needed.

Work Environment
• Fully onsite, Monday–Friday.
• High‑volume, compliance‑focused administrative environment.
• Collaborative team with both onsite and cross‑state partners.

Required Skills & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Approximately 2–3 years of customer service (CSR) experience required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel required (level can be negotiated based on overall experience).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow‑up practices.
• Ability to multitask and handle shifting priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working fully onsite with reliable attendance.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Previous experience with vehicle licensing, DMV processing, fleet or automotive administration.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
• Exposure to process improvement or workflow optimization.
