Description:
Insight Global is seeking a fully on-site Desktop Support Technician for a local client responsible for providing technical assistance to end users, maintaining desktop systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
Responsibilities:
· Provide Tier 1 technical support for desktops, laptops and mobile devices
· Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner
· Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows) and standard business applications
· Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory and related systems
· Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment setup and account provisioning
· Document issues, resolutions, and processes in the ticketing system(ServiceDesk)
· Collaborate with other team members to escalate and resolve complex issues
· Perform routine maintenance, updates, and system checks
Assist with IT projects such as system upgrades, deployments, and migrations

Required Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
· 1-2 years of experience in desktop support or a similar IT role
· Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
· Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and basic networking concepts
· Familiarity with ticketing systems(ServiceDesk preferred)
· Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
