Job Description

This IR Coder will be responsible for reviewing and coding a high volume of interventional radiology and vascular procedures, including thrombectomies, catheter placements, and other complex vascular cases. They will ensure coding accuracy and compliance while supporting a workflow of approximately 6,000 cases per month. The team needs a coder who can efficiently maintain productivity while helping improve turnaround times and overall coding quality.

Required Skills & Experience

- Certified Interventional Radiology (IR) Coder - CIRCC
- Strong experience coding vascular and interventional radiology procedures
- Proficient with catheter placement coding, including first- and second-order selective catheterization
Experience coding thrombectomies and other complex vascular cases
