Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Staff Accountant to support a growing client accounting team. This individual will be responsible for managing month-end close activities across multiple client entities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and financial reporting. The role requires someone who can effectively balance competing priorities, navigate the unique accounting needs of different clients, and work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. This person will also support special projects, including data migration and validation efforts as the organization transitions from QuickBooks to Dynamics 365.

Responsibilities
• Manage month-end close activities for multiple client entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Prepare journal entries, account analyses, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger reconciliations
• Review and analyze financial transactions in accordance with GAAP
• Assist with the preparation and review of client financial statements
• Review vendor invoices and support the vendor payment process
• Validate and reconcile financial data during system conversion and data migration initiatives
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and accounting team members to resolve accounting discrepancies and reporting questions
• Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

Required Skills & Experience

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of accounting experience with strong exposure to month-end close activities
• Experience preparing journal entries and performing balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reconciliation work
• Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

• Public accounting experience
• Experience supporting multiple entities or client accounting environments
• Experience preparing client financial statements
• Experience with data conversion, migration, or validation projects
• Experience with Dynamics 365
• QuickBooks experience
CPA or CPA-track candidates welcome, but not required
