Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Geotechnical Driller to support subsurface site investigations for engineering and environmental projects throughout New England. This position is based in Oxford, MA and involves travel to various project sites depending on project schedules and client needs.

The Geotechnical Driller will be responsible for operating drill rigs and related equipment to advance vertical boreholes, collect soil and rock samples, and support geotechnical investigations. This individual will work closely with field crews and project teams to ensure drilling activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

- Highschool Diploma OR GED
- Clean background check / MVR
- 2+ years of drilling experience
○ Experience operating drill rigs
○ Experience drilling vertical boreholes
○ Familiarity with geotechnical and/or environmental drilling projects
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift and perform physically demanding field work

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- CDL (Class A or B)
- Welding or fabrication experience
- Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) experience
Heavy equipment operation experience (excavator, skid steer, backhoe, loader, etc.)
