Job Description
The After Hours Operations Manager serves as the senior leader for all after-hours transportation and logistics operations, overseeing teams responsible for track and trace, customer support, and operational execution in a 24/7 environment. This individual will directly manage four After Hours Supervisors and provide leadership to Operations Associates, ensuring continuous service delivery, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Acting as the primary escalation point for critical shipment issues, service failures, and customer concerns, they will drive resolution efforts while maintaining compliance and service standards. The manager will oversee staffing, training, performance management, and workforce planning to ensure teams are prepared to support business needs at all times. This role is ideal for a proven people leader with a strong background in 3PL logistics or transportation operations who can balance strategic oversight with hands-on operational leadership.

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, brokerage, or other customer-facing operational environments
3+ years of leadership experience managing supervisors, team leads, or multi-shift operations teams in a 24/7 environment
Experience overseeing track and trace operations, shipment visibility, customer service, and operational escalations
Strong people management experience with a track record of coaching, developing, and holding teams accountable to performance goals
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze operational metrics, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience working within a 3PL, freight brokerage, or transportation management organization
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and workforce scheduling or performance management tools
