Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an EDI Integration Specialist - (IBM Sterling) for a global supply chain and distribution organization. This individual will serve as a hybrid analyst/developer responsible for supporting and enhancing the company's EDI ecosystem. Responsibilities include onboarding new trading partners, troubleshooting production issues, monitoring transaction flows, gathering business requirements, and developing integration solutions within IBM Sterling. The ideal candidate can comfortably communicate with both technical and business stakeholders, understands how EDI supports broader supply chain and trading operations, and can manage multiple concurrent initiatives. A large portion of the role involves coordinating with internal teams and external trading partners to ensure successful integration and transaction processing. The environment is fast-paced, project-driven, and heavily focused on business process improvement and operational efficiency. This is 6-month contract to hire opportunity that requires 3 days onsite with a range of $55-$65/hr.

Required Skills & Experience
• Hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator
• Strong EDI integration experience within a supply chain, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or retail environment
• Experience onboarding and testing new trading partners
• Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving EDI transaction failures
• Strong understanding of EDI standards:
○ X12, EDIFACT, XML/Papinet
• Experience supporting retail EDI transactions:
○ 850 Purchase Orders, 856 ASNs, 810 Invoices, 940 / 944 / 945 Warehouse Transactions
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
• Understanding of ERP-driven business processes
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) experience
• Project management experience
Exposure to AI, automation, or process improvement initiatives
