Job Description
Our client is seeking a Design Research Associate to focus on Protein Design. This resource will assist with protein design workflows, computational analysis, and collaborative research projects. This role will contribute to the design and evaluation of novel proteins, support external research collaborations, and assist with scientific publications.
Key Responsibilities
Execute computational protein design workflows and related research tasks.
Develop and maintain analysis scripts for evaluating designed proteins.
Analyze statistical and predicted physicochemical properties of protein designs.
Support research efforts focused on lysin-like antimicrobial design.
Prepare and present research findings to internal teams and external collaborators.
Provide computational support for protein dynamics research projects.
Assist with preparation of scientific manuscripts, reports, and presentations.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary research teams.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree
3+ years of experience in design research
Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data.
Familiarity with computational biology or bioinformatics tools.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a research environment.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Masters degree
Experience with protein design, structural biology, or computational modeling.
Experience presenting scientific data to research teams.
Exposure to scientific writing and manuscript preparation.
