Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Microsoft AI Governance Architect to help a client design and implement enterprise governance across Microsoft AI platforms. This person will focus on Power Platform, Copilot Studio, M365, Microsoft Purview, and Agent 365, with responsibility for assessing the current AI agent landscape, identifying gaps in controls, and designing a scalable governance model for enterprise AI adoption. The ideal candidate is senior, consultative, and technically strong enough to understand configuration, controls, integrations, and risk, but this is not a heads-down development role. They will partner with SMEs, M365 administration, communications/email teams, compliance, risk, and business stakeholders to build proposals, make recommendations, and help move governance initiatives into execution. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and independent ownership are critical.

Required Skills & Experience
-10+ years of experience with Microsoft governance across AI, automation, or enterprise platforms
-Strong hands-on experience with Power Platform, Copilot Studio, M365, Purview, and Agent 365 / Agent365
-Experience designing AI governance models, controls, policies, reporting, and operating standards
-Ability to assess existing agents, identify control gaps, and recommend scalable governance solutions
-Strong stakeholder management skills across technical teams, SMEs, compliance/risk, and business leaders
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Financial services experience
-Understanding of regulatory, compliance, and risk considerations within a highly regulated environment
-Developer background, or infrastructure background with prior development experience
-Experience integrating or governing AI capabilities involving non-Microsoft providers, such as Anthropic
-Experience creating governance models for citizen development programs
-Experience with reporting dashboards, control monitoring, and executive-level status reporting
-Prior experience helping an organization move from early AI experimentation into structured enterprise AI adoption
