Job Description
This individual will support tooling and product design initiatives within a technical engineering and manufacturing environment, working closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing engineering, quality, supply chain, and operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation, utilizing CAD software such as CATIA to support design modifications and tooling development, and leveraging existing production items for aftermarket applications. The role will also involve managing and coordinating with external suppliers responsible for the development and commissioning of tooling, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and project requirements are met. Additionally, this person will support documentation and configuration management activities within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, including uploading and maintaining engineering documentation. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a collaborative team environment, interacting across multiple business units, and is a proactive, self-motivated professional who confidently communicates ideas, raises concerns, and helps drive projects forward in a fast-paced engineering setting.
Compensation:
$48/hr to $51/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree and 1-5 years of experience or an additional 3 years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Experience working within a technical engineering environment, specifically supporting design engineering initiatives related to tooling, product design, manufacturing, or production development
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design documentation to support engineering and manufacturing activities
• Hands-on experience utilizing CAD software for modeling, drafting, and design modifications, preferably CATIA
• Proven ability to collaborate and coordinate effectively across multiple business units
• Comfortable managing and coordinating with multiple external vendors and suppliers to support tooling fabrication, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities
• Proactive, self-motivated individual with the confidence to communicate ideas, raise concerns, and drive initiatives forward
