Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Business Analyst to support a leader in the apparel industry. This individual will act as the right hand to a Program Manager within Merchandising & Planning Operations, helping drive two critical strategic programs forward. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at process mapping, business analysis, stakeholder management, and project coordination.
This role sits at the intersection of business analysis, process improvement, and program delivery, supporting cross-functional teams in documenting processes, gathering requirements, managing project governance, and communicating updates to stakeholders ranging from individual contributors to senior executives. Key Programs You Will Support
1. Visualization & Product Readiness Program
Support the evolution of visualization tools that help merchandising and planning teams better understand product flow, launch timelines, and key milestones throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting enhancements to existing visualization tools and capabilities.
Documenting current and future state processes tied to product planning and launches.
Coordinating timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder activities required for successful adoption.
Identifying additional user groups, access requirements, and modernization opportunities within the platform.
Translating business needs into functional requirements and process documentation.
2. AI-Driven Product Curation Program
Support a strategic initiative focused on leveraging AI to improve assortment planning and product placement decisions.
Responsibilities include:
Working with business and AI stakeholders to understand how AI recommendations can be utilized within merchandising workflows.
Supporting initiatives that analyze factors such as demographics, climate, competitive landscape, and local market characteristics when determining product placement strategies.
Documenting business requirements, processes, and dependencies across teams.
Assisting in the development of capabilities within existing systems to support AI-driven decision making.
Partnering with internal AI subject matter experts and cross-functional business teams to drive program objectives.

3-6 years of experience in Business Analysis, Process Improvement, Project Coordination, Merchandising Operations, PMO, Supply Chain, or related functions.
Experience gathering and documenting functional business requirements.
Translate complex initiatives into detailed process maps, business procedures, and operational documentation (L2/L3 level).
Strong process mapping and process documentation experience using Visio or similar tools.
Experience supporting complex cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
Ability to maintain and manage project documentation including project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and governance materials.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for both working teams and executive audiences.
Experience creating dashboards and reporting using Excel, Power BI, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

Familiarity with enterprise planning systems and retail technology platforms.
Exposure to AI, machine learning, analytics, or data-driven business initiatives.
Lean Six Sigma certification or other process improvement credentials.
Experience supporting transformation, modernization, or large-scale change initiatives.
Experience building executive-level presentations and Steering Committee materials.
Knowledge of product lifecycle, assortment planning, inventory planning, or retail operations.
