Delivery Lead, Enterprise Architecture

Insight Global is seeking an Enterprise Delivery Lead for a top insurance and reinsurance client. This role is responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of complex, enterprise‑scale initiatives, ensuring that target‑state architectures are translated into executable plans and delivered to production with high quality. The lead will primarily be supporting initiatives such as a data center migration and Microsoft Fabric rollout. The Delivery Lead will bridge strategy, architecture, and execution by partnering closely with enterprise architecture, solution architects, engineering, security, and operations teams. The ideal candidate brings strong technical credibility, enterprise systems thinking, and the ability to manage architectural integrity, delivery risk, and operational readiness in a highly regulated environment. This is a 6 month contract to hire, fully remote on EST hours, with a pay range of $80-90/hr.


Day-to-Day
• Support two main initiatives:
○ 50% Data Center Migration (lift and shift)
○ 50% Microsoft Fabric rollout
• Translate architecture into clear delivery plans and workstreams
• Partner with architects to understand and communicate system design
• Build exec decks, scorecards, and stakeholder updates
• Manage RAG status, budget, and milestones
• Coordinate across engineering, testing, HR, Finance, and business teams
• Align on user stories, KPIs, and priorities
• Identify risks and ensure visibility across stakeholders
• Support governance and standards, especially in early cleanup phase

• 10+ years in enterprise IT delivery with a strong architecture background
• Experience owning end-to-end delivery across complex, enterprise programs
• Strong understanding of Azure and modern data platforms
• Hands-on understanding of Microsoft Fabric concepts, including components, data flow, and how data moves from ingestion to publication
• Ability to read, build, and clearly explain architecture and flow diagrams
• Experience with data center migrations (lift and shift) and risk management
• Proven ability to identify risks early and manage via risk registers
• Strong executive communication skills with experience delivering stakeholder readouts and decks
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business language
• Experience coordinating across architecture, engineering, testing, and business teams
• Strong ownership of RAG status, budgets, milestones, and KPIs
• Comfortable acting as a program lead / secondary product owner

• Background in data architecture or data mesh
• Experience in SaaS data environments
• Familiarity with SailPoint or identity/access impacts
• Experience in regulated environments (insurance/finance)
