Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical Business Analyst to serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. This individual will work closely with product line leadership, including VP-level stakeholders, to analyze customer and operational data, identify business opportunities, and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of data structures, business processes, and enterprise operating systems, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with business leaders, product line executives, and cross-functional teams to understand strategic objectives and business challenges.
• Analyze customer and operational data within the enterprise operating systems to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and execute SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Interpret how data flows across systems and understand the relationships between various datasets to ensure accurate reporting and insights.
• Gather, document, and refine business requirements for new initiatives, enhancements, and process improvements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by providing data-driven recommendations that support business outcomes.
• Collaborate with technology teams to ensure business requirements are clearly defined and successfully implemented.
• Investigate data discrepancies, identify root causes, and recommend solutions to improve data quality and operational efficiency.
• Take ownership of projects and proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and business improvement.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a data-driven environment.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and perform data analysis.
• Deep understanding of enterprise systems, databases, and data relationships.
• Ability to understand both the technical and business implications of data.
• Experience translating business needs into actionable requirements and analytical solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with Director and VP-level leadership.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Familiarity with transportation, logistics, fleet management, or related industries.
