Job Description

The 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor oversees maintenance operations during the evening shift, ensuring production equipment and facility systems operate safely and efficiently. This role leads a team of maintenance technicians, coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and works closely with production leadership to minimize downtime and support operational goals. The position is responsible for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment issues, assigning daily work, monitoring maintenance performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The supervisor also supports employee training, continuous improvement initiatives, and maintenance planning to enhance equipment reliability and team effectiveness.

Required Skills & Experience

Industrial maintenance background

Experience with VFDs, safety relay, motor controls, safety circuits, encoders, pumps, positive displacement, gear drive, reducer, moisture control, transducer, centrifugal pumps, welding TIG stainless steel, gearboxes, troubleshooting electric, refrigeration, ammonia, AC DC circuits, control systems, control voltage, hydraulics , etc.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems.
Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in a fast-paced production environment.
Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Stable work history

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Previous leadership or supervisory experience
Amonia certifications
Boiler experience

Water treatment / wastewater experience

PLC troubleshooting experience (strongly preferred)

Open to multiple shifts

Food industry background

Robotics experience
