Job Description
Overview: This role leads supportive service delivery to 133 formerly homeless residents with verified mental illness at a large-scale affordable housing development. The Director serves as the primary liaison between property management and two contracted social service providers (Breaking Ground and Women In Need), ensuring residents receive consistent, high-quality, trauma-informed support. Key responsibilities include: - Developing a site-specific social service plan for the resident population - Conducting at least two resident engagements per month (including one in-home visit) - Overseeing service provider performance and contractual compliance - Leading crisis response coordination with EMS, mental health, and housing stability partners - Facilitating case conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings - Maintaining case documentation in compliance with privacy regulations
Compensation: $130-145k along with a discretionary bonus.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's (MSW, Psychology, Public Health, or related) preferred - 5+ years working with vulnerable or formerly homeless populations, particularly those with mental illness - Strong background in supportive housing, housing-first practices, and trauma-informed care - Experience managing/coordinating contracted social service providers in a residential setting - Familiarity with NYC housing systems and public agency partnerships (DHS, HPD, HRA) - Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
