Job Description

Support maintenance operations in a high-volume manufacturing plant, with a strong focus on preventative maintenance and equipment reliability. This role will spend the majority of time completing PMs while also supporting reactive maintenance as needed. Technicians will work on automated production equipment, including conveyors and machinery used in window/door or vinyl manufacturing, and utilize the Fiix CMMS system to track and document all work. The role also includes troubleshooting PLCs, performing root cause analysis, and coordinating with external vendors to complete repairs and improvement projects.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3–5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in window/door or vinyl manufacturing environments
- Experience working with automated equipment and conveyors
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and CMMS systems (Fiix or similar)
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints
- Knowledge of industrial systems including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Strong understanding of safety standards (OSHA, LOTO, PPE)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Technical or trade school degree
- Experience working with vendors: Joseph Machine Company (JMC), Erdman Automation, GED Integrated Solutions,
- Experience working with vendor-supported equipment or OEM machinery
- Previous experience training or mentoring junior technicians
