Job Description
Our client is undertaking a major UKG Workforce Management modernization initiative, and this team is responsible for building the technology layer that will support it long-term. They are migrating from their current Workforce Central environment toward UKG Pro WFM, which entails: rebuilding their application ecosystem in Azure, creating a brand-new middleware/API layer from scratch and modernizing existing functionality using newer technologies and cloud architecture.
What You'll Do:
Build and maintain full-stack features spanning Vue / Nuxt front-ends, C#/.NET middleware, and SQL data
Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and middleware services using C# and ASP.NET Core
Write and optimize SQL queries and work with relational data
Design and develop responsive, accessible user interfaces in Vue / Nuxt
Contribute to migrating applications and services to Azure and refactoring legacy code toward modern, cloud-native patterns

Required Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in C# and .NET (.NET 6/8/10, ASP.NET Core) for API and middleware development
Demonstrated experience designing and building RESTful APIs
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (SQL Server and/or Oracle preferred)
Strong front-end experience with Vue / Nuxt (preferred), or a comparable modern JavaScript framework with a willingness to work in Vue / Nuxt
Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript / TypeScript
Proficiency with Git and modern source-control workflows
Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tooling (Azure DevOps or similar)
Understanding of API and web security fundamentals (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, token-based auth)
