We’ve always done things differently. Born from the idea that staffing could be less about financial gain and corporate in-roads, and more about genuine relationships and meaningful impact, the company was founded as an entrepreneurial start-up in 2001. Since then, we’ve grown exponentially, and in a number of ways.
Today, we are a purpose-driven company that’s dedicated to empowering people through the value of opportunity. We give it our all to put people to work.
Our Shared Values
These values are the fabric of our company. This is who we are, this is what we live by, and this is what shapes everything we do.
- Everyone Matters
- We Take Care of Each Other
- Leadership is Here to Serve
- High Character and Hard Work Above All Else
- Always Know Where You Stand
“Our purpose is to develop our people personally, professionally, and financially; so they can be the light to the world around them.”
— Bert Bean, CEO
We believe that if we can develop our people to become the best versions of themselves, then they will turn around and take care of our customers, our consultants, and our candidates in ways that far exceed any expectations.
Our ESG Impact
To say we are a purpose-driven company is easy. Living out that purpose—to be the light to our people, our communities, and our planet—is hard work. The issues we seek to tackle such as equity, access to affordable healthcare, and climate change, are big and require effort that goes beyond the walls of Insight Global. Between our people, our consultants, our clients, and our community partners, our opportunity to impact is large. There is no limit to what we can do when we come together.
What Makes Us, Us
We live our values. It’s what makes us, us. So we’ve created communities within our company dedicated to advancing women in leadership, supercharging diversity across the board, and helping to make a difference by giving back in the world.
There is nothing more important to our company than the development of our people. IG University is our signature program designed to equip our people with everything they need to crush it. From our CEO to our budding Account Managers, all employees are enriched, coached, and cultivated at IGU. This is a multidisciplinary resource that includes one-on-one mentorship, classroom training, group discussions, C-suite shadowing, and a learn-by-doing approach.
Women's Leadership Council
The Women’s Leadership Council was formed to celebrate the fact that women are amazing leaders. As a company that’s more than 70% women, we want to empower our best leaders to bring their perspective and strength to improve the company, help solve tough problems, and guide others to meet their greatest potential.
Employee network resource groups
Our Employee Network Resource Groups (ENRGs) are voluntary employee-led groups whose aim is to foster a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment. These groups are led and participated in by employees according to shared identities and exist to create a safe space for our people to be their whole selves, as well as aid in personal and professional growth.
At Insight Global, everyone matters. As a company, we place tremendous value on diversity of thought, experience, and background. This group is dedicated to identifying opportunities for Insight Global to be more inclusive and thoughtful about how we hire, cultivate talent from all perspectives and stay true to our Shared Values.
The Family Foundation
We are a company that people can anchor to when unplanned events bring about a personal storm. The IG Family Foundation provides a financial lifeline for those who need help during the most trying periods of their lives. True to its name, and our 2nd Shared Value, “We Take Care of Each Other,” Family Foundation assistance is available to IG’s In-House Team and family of consultants. Since launching in 2020, the IGFF has provided over 265 grants to our employees and their families, just when they needed support the most.
OneWorld Health’s mission is to create lasting healthcare impact in some of the most underserved communities on earth. This mission connects with us deeply. We also share their passion for hiring, training, and empowering people. Since partnering together in 2020, we have set a goal to fund 10 hospital GRIT clinics in Uganda, Nicaragua, Honduras and Kenya. By the end of 2022, we will have five of these facilities open and operating, and have served over 60,000 patients.
